Fuels, Oils and Lubricants

19.

Arrangements for the provision of supplies

of aviation fuels, oils and lubricants are the responsibility of the Oil Companies Tank Farm (OCTF).

20.

In the event of difficulty in maintaining adequate stocks, the Director of Civil Aviation will be informed. An order of priority will then be notified to the OCTF and may be subject to change, according to circumstances, on the authority of DCA.

21.

Emergency power supplies are available for the operation of the OCTF.

Ramp Operations

22.

Hong Kong Air Terminal Services (HATS) is responsible for providing services in respect of all ramp operations involving passenger handling, ground transportation, baggage and cargo handling.

23.

In the event that an adequate level of services cannot be maintained due to staff shortage or for any other reasons, the Director of Civil Aviation will be informed. An order of priority will then be notified to HATS, and may be subject to change according to circumstances on the authority of DCA.

Cargo and Mail

24.

Hong Kong Air Cargo Terminal Limited (HACTL) is responsible for processing of cargo for air shipment. The Director of Civil Aviation must be notified should difficulties occur in maintaining the normal operation of the cargo terminal, in order that HACTL will be notified of priority allocation to the services which may be deemed necessary.
