obtained from GSECC as soon as an emergency begins to evolve. Warrants shall be stringently controlled and
shall need to be accounted for once the curfew is lifted;
and
when the civil disturbances (or other emergency) are over :
(i)
(ii)
to take steps to restore public transport services to normal scheduled levels as quickly as possible, giving priority to high capacity, trunk and cross-harbour modes;
to prepare applications to
Executive Council to cancel any emergency powers used; and
(iii) to collate information to verify
any future claims for compensation from public transport operators arising from the exercise of emergency powers under the various ordinances.
