By virtue of Section 18 of Essential Services Corps (General) Regulations, Cap. 197, the AMS can be called out either in full or in part. By virtue of Section 19 of the same Regulations, the Commissioner has the authority to order the full mobilisation of the AMS or a limited call-out with the prior approval of the Governor. (n.b. The call-out of the AMS in the event of local disasters does not require prior authorisation by the
Governor.)
DEPLOYMENT

During emergencies the Control Room (3/F) of AMS Headquarters located at 81 Princess Margaret Road, Homantin and the Regional Offices will be manned continuously.
