The Company will meet its own requirements for transport.
Vehicles will be driven and maintained by the Company staff. The Company has approximately 653 vehicles, 170 of which are lorries 171 sedans and 312 motor cycles. Approximately 256 vehicles are fitted with V.H.F. mobile radios working to eight base stations at North Point, Ma Tau Kok, Tai Po, Aberdeen and Shatin and fourteen repeater stations at Shatin, Victoria Peak, Tai Po, Yuen Long, Tuen Mun, Sheung Shui, Chai Wan, Tsing Yi, Ap Lei Chau and Ma On Shan. Some mobile radios could be deployed as Static Stations in the case of telephone failure.
Food Supplies

The Company
will organise a stock of food sufficient to last one week. Should this become impossible, staff will be fed with the assistance of the Rations Officer of the Food Unit (located in Agriculture and Fisheries Department HQ).
Stores
