The maintenance
of
teleprinters and Data terminal equipment is performed at Main Centres in Telecom House and Hermes House with a subsidiary base at Central District.
16.
The
maintenance
of remote and mobile VHF equipment for Government Departments is centred at Telecom House.
Related equipment installed at the Peak Station is maintained at that Station. Sound systems and video facilities etc of the various Civic Centres, Town Halls, Space/Service Museums, and Stadia of the USD and RSD are maintained and operated at the venue concerned.
17.
The maintenance
of equipment for the Civil Aviation Department is centred at Hong Kong International Airport. Sixteen remote sites are involved, but most of the facilities are located and maintained at unmanned sites.
18.
The maintenance of equipment for Radio Television Hong Kong is centred at Broadcasting House.
All transmitter sites are unattended with emergency attention from Broadcasting House.

Annexure C shows those stations which have generating plant. Telecom House has four 1.7-MVA and one 3-MVA standby plants with fuel storage for 1 day's continuous running. Hermes House has three 1.5-MVA standby plants with fuel storage for 6 days. Other stations have fuel stores for 2 to 8 days. Telecom House has two power supply cables, one from Harcourt Road Substation and another from Harbour Road Substation. Several Outstations also
have two separate power supply cables.
