(e) Joint Intelligence Centre (Mil/SB/Crime)
this will be established at HỌ CCC and Joint SB/Crime teams will be set up at Regional and District levels for the purpose of keeping the Commissioner informed on all intelligence matters affecting the situation; subordinate Joint Intelligence Centres will also be established at suitable locations for the purpose of interrogation and documentation of prisoners; and
when the
(f) Police Public Relations Bureau
Force Mobilisation Order (FORMOB) is issued, PPRB will merge with the Government Information Services (GIS).
Police Command and Control
6.
The Commissioner of Police will
exercise
command of the Force through HQ CCC and subordinate RCCCs.
Most Police IS units would be grouped under these RCCCS, but CP would retain a central tactical
reserve under HQCCC.
MILITARY SUPPORT FOR THE CIVIL POWER
1.
Should the situation become So grave, the Governor may call for Military support to the Civil Government.
Before such a stage is reached the CP would normally consult CBF so that the Military Units may be brought to a higher state of readiness.
8.
Should the Governor authorise
such support
the Military Units would render as much assistance as possible to the Civil Power in restoring law and order as soon as possible. The Military could be employed on a full range of internal security duties in support of the Civil Government should the circumstances so demand. The Military also have a limited range of plant and other equipment which may be mobilised during any emergency to support the Civil Government.
