this will be commanded by the Deputy Commissioner Police (DCP/Mgt) and established at Police Headquarters; DCP/Mgt will be responsible for day-to-day administration of the Force, and the supply of arms, ammunition, transport and communications to Police units in the field;
Regional Administration Group the Regional Commander
will appoint a Regional Administrative Officer (RAO) who will be supported by an assistant. RAO, and staff officers for transport, personnel, stores, catering and escorts, drawn from Regular or Auxiliary Police personnel. Liaison officers from the Fire Services, Civil Aid Services and Auxiliary Medical Services will normally be attached to the Group;
Special Branch
when the Force mobilises into IS Structure it is the duty of Special Branch to keep the Commissioner informed at all times of all subversive movements and of all elements and incidents likely to be the cause of a disturbance (this is a part of its normal function and the organisation of the Branch is designed to meet this commitment);
Crime Wing when the Force mobilises into IS Structure the Crime Wing is responsible for :
(i)
(ii)
(iii)
and
actively seeking
providing intelligence on all matters relating to the emergency to HQCCC and RCCCs;
collecting and collating information on criminal elements who may try to take advantage of the situation;
acting in support of IS Forces in identifying
and/or
arresting instigators, ringleaders and those committing criminal offences; and
(iv)
the
investigation
