ESSENTIAL GASES

The Hong Kong Oxygen & Acetylene Co Ltd., is the sole supplier of
certain essential medical and industrial gases used by the medical services, the Security Forces and other essential undertakings. The Hong Kong Oxygen factories are located in Junk Bay and Tai Po and maintain daily deliveries of these gases to its customers.

If it seems likely that normal production or distribution may be disrupted, the Company will take steps to build up the reserves of its customers and may establish regional depots in Kowloon and on Hong Kong
