Certain civil and Military installations are essential or important to the security of Hong Kong and are classified as 'key points'. The list of key points is regularly reviewed and is divided into categories according to

the function of each

installation.

During civil disturbances, these key points may be vulnerable to sporadic or planned attacks by mobs or individuals.
