All UK functions in Security Branch to be grouped in one unit přeparatory to the move (four officers, three
clerical, one registry, two secretaries, two couriers).
1 January 1995
Move Security Branch unit into St John's Building.
1 April 1995
St John's Building unit becomes part of PA's Office
1 July 1995
PA and staff move to new accommodation (two officers,
secretaries, one registry, one driver).
June 1997
PA's Office departs with Governor (elements may
transfer to British Consulate General).
Administrative Concerns

We believe this to be a practical proposal as it does
not involve the creation of new posts. Existing posts will be
drawn from the current Political Adviser's Office, Security
Branch and Civil Service Branch. Funds will be needed,
however, to finance the acquisition and refurbishment of accommodation. The necessary preparatory changes within Security Branch can be accomplished 'in house' by rearranging
divisional charters and offices.
