AFFIDAVIT OF DINH THI BICH CHINH
I DINH THỊ BỊCH CHINH of Nei Kwu Chau Detention Centre, Hong Kong, MAKE OATH AND SAY AS FOLLOWS:
1. I am the same DINH THI BICH CHINH who filed an Affirmation dated 5th August 1992 in High Court Miscellaneous Proceedings Number 2368.
2. I have been shown a copy of the Affidavits of Michael Ho Chung Wai ("Mr. Ho") dated 18 December 1992, Mr. Peter C. Cromwell ("Mr. Cromwell") dated 25 March 1993, Nguyen Thi Hanh ("my mother") dated 22 March 1993 and Dinh Xuan Son ("my brother") dated 22 March 1993 and the same have been translated into Vietnamese for
me.
3. I strongly resent the fact that Mr. Ho paid a private visit to my mother and brother to ask questions about my family and me. Although I appreciate that he was trying to aid me and my family in our refugee claims, he was profoundly misguided in his efforts. Anyone who is as familiar with Vietnam as Mr. Ho claims to be should know that government informers are everywhere, perhaps even among the interpreters employed by the British Embassy.
