Claims Already Paid
4.
The Director
of Accounting Services will arrange to pay, as soon as possible, the balance of the allowance payable under the new rates to officers who have already been paid at the old rates for school terms which commenced on or after 1 September 1992. Officers should notify the Director of Accounting Services through Heads of Departments if they have not received such payment at the end of February 1993.
5.
Claims
at the old rates now under consideration by the Treasury will, if verified, be paid at the new rates with effect from the school term which commenced on or after 1 September 1992. Outstanding claims relating to an earlier period will, if approved, be paid at rates pertaining to that period.
Double Benefits
6.
Officers applying for this allowance are required to note paragraphs 6 8 of CSB Circular No. 26/81 concerning the prevention of payment of double benefits.
