This circular memorandum announces the revised rates of Day School Allowance (DSA) for the United
United Kingdom, United States of America, Australia, New Zealand and Singapore.
Revised Rates

The revised maximum rate
rate of DSA for the United Kingdom is £912 per
academic year with effect from 1 September 1992. DSA rates for the United States of America, Australia, New Zealand and Singapore have been revised to tie in with that for the United Kingdom.
In accordance with CSR 766(2), overseas education allowances may be claimed only in respect of children educated in schools in the officer's country of origin as
declared for the purposes of CSRS 1300(e) and 1320.
