CHANGE OF RESIDENCE

1. As I told you on the telephone, we are giving careful consideration here to the case for a move. The first step is for OED to submit, with input from HKD and MWU, to get agreement to the principle of moving now. It is clear that we will not have a decision for you by 17 December.

2.

Either OED or I will be in touch with you to tell you more about how we are taking this forward. In the meantime, it would be helpful to OED if you could get hold of floor plans for the Repulse Bay property and send them to us (the enclosure you sent with your letter to me of 4 December is not sufficient for OED's purposes).

3.

I'm sorry I was slightly off beam in what I said to you about the conversion work done on the Albany. It did not involve knocking 2 flats into one, as I mistakenly thought, but it did involve a deal of partition work and other changes to the fabric of the flat (i.e. the creation of an entrance hall previously the lift opened into the lounge).
