2. On the renewal of the Albany lease in autumn 1992, both OED and Swire Properties (owners) were notified of the probability of a move in accordance with the break clause in the lease (OED's letter of 27 July 1992 and related exchanges).
3. Provision was recommended in 1992/93 OED budget for costs of a move from the Albany. Actual costs in this case would be far lower than the estimate given in the MO's letter of 3 December to Francis (Area 1). We estimate the cost of the move to be in the region of HK$50,000 - HK$60,000.
