1.

As agreed I am passing on a copy of the final PTG draft- recently received via Russ Jarvis with my comments. I need to check one or two points with Clive Newey before we can give Russ our combined views.

2.

Despite the alleged inviolability of the General Conditions HKG have in fact extended condition 8. Our ability to alter the new building during the term of the grant is thereby denied although as far as I can see we could demolish it and start again. Condition 16 was not relevant to our grant and is removed. I think we can live with all this.

3.

As to the Special Conditions my comments are:

Condition 6.

Condition 7 and 11

Condition 14

سما

Are we wairing winer proscatin under International law by accepting this mechanism.

This condition has been extended and the precise wording of the current Town Planning Ordinance should be checked to ensure our use is covered. We were told in January that the necessary amendment was being made.

Amended as agreed but I think the words in parenthesis are both new and helpful.

The factor proposed for the calculation of any compensation arising out of the exercise of the power to determine the Grant assumes we already have possession. Since we know that we are unlikely to do so until well into 1993 we could argue that one fifty fourth for every unexpired year would be more equable.
