The Committee expressed their concern that no current estimate cost or details of the building specifications (internal or external) are yet available: it is difficult to
comment on the project without this information. Mr Newey stated that no estimate cost could sensibly be established until the PSPs had been agreed. As the latter is now likely to occur in the immediate future he anticipated that an order of cost,
based on current PSPS, will be available by late November at which stage the Coordinating Committee will be informed. Mr Newey further stated that the Architects will study further the various options for internal and external specifications between now and completion of FSPs: their
specification recommendations will be included and available
at the FSP presentation to the Coordinating Committee which is
the norm. Action: Mr Newey.

Mr Buchanan requested indicative furniture layouts for the FSP presentation particularly for library, multi-purpose hall and classrooms. Mr Newey advised that it was always
OED's intention to ensure that the Architects do this:
