5. In practice I do not see us talking about the building itself for much longer. The design will be set by the autumn and I will do my best to prevent any after-thoughts. The issues we need to keep in step on are more about people.
6. Are you content that we go ahead on that basis? sub-paragraph 1(c) would do, eg
If so a
"to coordinate proposals on staffing the new premises
and to make recommendations to the Steering Committee on the timing of steps to that end."
Paragraph 4 would then provide for advice on people to go to HK Dept.
7. We held a preliminary meeting of the interested parties on 28 July and I think we all felt that regular exchanges of information and views would be helpful.
