HONG KONG: FUTURE BRITISH CONSULATE-GENERAL
DESIGN BRIEF : VISIT REPORT
Objectives:
1.
Mr Newey, Mr Whittle and I visited Hong Kong on 2 to 5 March 1992 with the main aim of discussing and progressing the design brief with the Consultant Architects who have been invited to take part in the selective design exercise.
Summary:

The visit went smoothly and achieved the main objectives. Everything is now to hand for the Consultant Architects to produce their design. submissions to SWIRE by 10 April and to OED by 13 April. Arrangements have been made for representatives of the BTC, Procurement Unit and British Council to view and comment on the outline designs (see para 8.4) The current programme for the project is at Annex A.
Follow-up Action:

Various issues were raised during the visit which will require immediate follow-up action, namely:-
(a) To advise BTC Hong Kong of the funding
requirements and the authority and time of payments (para 7c)
