Specifications are concrete walls with B/R glass to give vision all round and into entrance area and vehicle inspection lock. Provide 2 speech units and document passing facilities.

Adjacent to guard room with secure screens to front and rear, each with electronic controlled pedestrian gate. Provide space for metal arch detection unit and wand search area. Bell push externally to guard room.

Solid heavy duty manual double gate to secure perimeter with spyhole, lockable internally leading onto barriered section of access road immediately inside gate sufficient to hold a single small truck. Internally provide a manually operated lift-up anti-crash barrier.

If additional space required either locate in any surplus basement space or outhouse in warehouse.

Locate centrally in U/C area and if possible within or near to section F and in particular F(13). Provide 24 hr A/C.

For use of all sections. Locate adjacent to G4 to give access from G(4) and to staff areas. Door from g(4) to be controlled from G(2)/(3) by an electronic lock. The door to staff circulation should be fitted with a PBCL.

Provide sink and locate near to WC facilities.

Locate adjacent and with public access direct from D(10) if possible. Interconnect to J(6) by sliding type doors to create large area for receptions etc.
