Both agreed to the informal arrangements. They will miss help in every way (within the law) but Sir John said we could always bend it somewhat. Agreed that the truth must come out and justice must be done irrespective of costs.
I told them of the determination of the committee to get to the bottom of things. Told him of my talk with the Prime Minister and later with the Minister of Finance.
The scheduled time of the meeting for half an hour lasted 45 minutes.
Attorney General was very supportive. He in fact pleaded my case.
On way out he mentioned meeting our Attorney General in KL.
AG also mentioned at the meeting that he has the highest regard for me, what we have done is remarkable.
