First batch of locally enlisted personnel in the Navy interviewed
Purpose
This paper informs members of the result of personality checks and verification interviews on 9 of the 43 potentially successful locally enlisted personnel in the Navy. Subject to members' agreement and confirmation with the applicants that there is no change in their circumstances, the 9 cases will be submitted to the Governor for recommendation to the Secretary of State for registration as British citizens under the British Nationality (Hong Kong) Act 1990.

note the result of personality checks and interviews on 9 locally enlisted personnel in the Navy; and
advise that the applications from these 9 principal applicants and their dependants be submitted to the Governor for recommendation to the Secretary of State for registration as British citizens under the British Nationality (Hong Kong) Act 1990.
