Fifth batch of "Teaching Professionals" (Post-secondary) interviewed
Purpose
This paper informs members of the results of personality checks and verification interviews on 37 of the 334 potentially successful applicants in Occupational Group 18 "Teaching Professionals" (post-secondary). Subject to members' agreement and confirmation with the applicants that there is no change in their circumstances, the 37 cases will be submitted to the Governor for recommendation to the Secretary of State for registration as British citizens under the British Nationality (Hong Kong) Act 1990.

Members are invited to
note
the results of personality checks and verification interviews on 37 "Teaching Professionals"; and
advise that the applications from these 37 principal applicants and their dependants be submitted to the Governor for recommendation to the Secretary of State for registration as British citizens under the British Nationality (Hong Kong) Act 1990.
