First batch of "Legal Associate Professionals" interviewed
Purpose
This paper informs members of the results of personality checks and verification interviews on 14 of the 85 potentially successful applicants in Occupational Group 17 "Legal Associate Professionals". Subject to members' agreement and confirmation with the applicants that there is no change in their circumstances, the 14 cases will be submitted to the Governor for recommendation to the Secretary of State for registration as British citizens under the British Nationality (Hong Kong) Act 1990.

(a)
note the
results
of personality checks and verification interviews on 14 "Legal Associate Professionals"; and
(b) advise whether the applications from these 14 principal applicants and their dependants be submitted to the Governor for recommendation to the Secretary of State for registration as British citizens under the British Nationality (Hong Kong) Act 1990.
