Seventh batch of "Nurses & Midwives" interviewed
Purpose
This paper informs members of the results of personality checks and verification interviews on 28 of the 1,334 potentially successful applicants in Occupational Group 13 "Nurses and Midwives". Subject to members' agreement and confirmation with the applicants that there is no change in their circumstances, the 28 cases will be submitted to the Governor for recommendation to the Secretary of State for registration as British citizens under the British Nationality (Hong Kong) Act 1990.
Advice sought
2.
Members will be invited to
-
(a) note the results of personality checks and verification interviews on 28 potentially successful "Nurses and Midwives"; and
(b) advise whether the applications from these 28 principal applicants and their dependants be submitted to the Governor for recommendation to the Secretary of State for registration as British citizens under the British Nationality (Hong Kong) Act 1990.
