Second batch of "Architects, Planners & Surveyors" interviewed
Purpose
This paper informs members of the results of personality checks and verification interviews on 55 of the 434 potentially successful applicants in Occupational Group (OG) 7 "Architects, Planners & Surveyors". Subject to members' agreement and confirmation with the applicants that there is no change in their circumstances, the 55 cases will be submitted to the Governor for recommendation to the Secretary of State for registration as British citizens under the British Nationality (Hong Kong) Act 1990.
Advice sought
2.
Members will be invited to -
(a) note the results of personality checks and verification interviews on 55 potentially successful "Architects, Planners & Surveyors"; and
(b) advise whether the applications from these 55 principal applicants and their dependants should be submitted to the Governor for recommendation to the Secretary of State for registration as British citizens under the British Nationality (Hong Kong) Act 1990.
