GOC - First batch of "Engineers & Related Prfoessionals" interviewed
Purpose
This paper informs members of the results of personality checks and verification interviews on 107 of the 1,869 potentially successful applicants in Occupational Group 6 "Engineers & Related Professionals". Subject to members' agreement and confirmation with the applicants that there is no change in their circumstances, the 107 cases will be submitted to the Governor for recommendation to the Secretary of State for registration as British citizens under the British Nationality (Hong Kong) Act 1990.

Members are invited to -
note the results of personality checks and verification interviews on 107 "Engineers & Related Professionals"; and
advise whether the applications from these 107 principal applicants and their dependants be submitted to the Governor for recommendation to the Secretary of State for registration as British citizens under the British Nationality (Hong Kong) Act 1990.
