We are most grateful to the Special Group for its advice Оп British undertakings. As you are no doubt aware, the assessment of organisations as British undertakings is a very important step in the processing of applications submitted under the British Nationality Scheme. Immigration Department will not be able to finalise the score of applicants who have claimed service with British undertakings until they have been advised of the status of organisations concerned.
Any delay in completing the assessment exercise will have an adverse effect on the implementation of the British Nationality Scheme.
We have now reached a point where we need to finalise the list of recommended organisations or else a I delay to the processing of applications will soon result. understand that the final list of recommended British undertakings was sent to London sometime ago and should be grateful if you could forward the list to the Governor as soon as it is cleared with London.
