BRITISH UNDERTAKINGS
Many thanks for your fax of 21 February. We have checked the names on the list both with Companies House and with directories here. I have the following fairly minor comments:
List A
The Barker and Dobson entry should read Barker and Dobson Ltd rather than plc.
The names of the two GEC companies were changed on 1 July 1989 to the following: GEC Alsthom Distribution Switchgear Ltd and GEC Alsthom Turbine Generator Services Ltd. Both are registered at Companies House.
List B
On the Caldbeck International entry, it should read Anglo-Thai Corporation Ltd.
As regards the four Inchcape entries, Inchcape Pacific is not registered at Companies House. I assume the ultimate parent company on all four entries is Inchcape plc, which is registered.
On Macmillan Publishers (HK) Ltd, McMillan Publishers Ltd is not registered at Companies House. I assume the parent co is Macmillan Ltd, which is registered.
On Peter Fraenkel Consultants (HK) Ltd, I assume that the entry should have added that it is a wholly owned subsidiary of a UK company. Peter Fraenkel Consultants Ltd and Peter Fraenkel BMT Ltd are both registered at Companies House.
