LAW AND ORDER
I know there is much concern in Hong Kong at the
increasing number of incidents involving armed robberies and smuggling from the mainland. The Hong Kong Government are stepping up cross-border cooperation and are tightening legislation.
We have stressed the importance of this cooperation with the Chinese. Hong Kong remains a very safe city.
