SECRETARY OF STATE ́S VISIT TO HONG KONG: 26-28 JULY 1992
I attach an agreed list of briefs which are required for this visit. A copy of the suggested programme is attached.

In the interests of keeping the briefing as concise as possible, I should like if possible to condense the background into one document. Could I therefore ask for one paragraph on each of the subjects listed overleaf, updating issues of current interest, relevant to the meetings and calls in the programme.

Could I please have the briefs by noon on
Wednesday 15 July with a view to submitting them in final form in the week-end box on 17 July. This will allow time for any revision or supplementary briefing before the Secretary of State's departure on 23 July.
