Mr Goodlad's Travel Plans
The Secretary of State has seen your minutes of 6 and
17 August. He agrees that Mr Goodlad should:
-
visit Hong Kong and Vietnam from Friday 4 to Sunday 13 September;
visit Cambodia from 18 to 23 September; and
visit Indonesia and Thailand from 10 to 18 October if the Secretary of State himself does not go to Indonesia at the end of that month.
I am sending Number 10 the draft letter attached to your second minute, seeking authority for Mrs Goodlad to acocmpany the Minister on the September visits.
