Pleased to be here in Hong Kong. First overseas visit since becoming Minister. Delighted to be back in Hong Kong which I know well. Looking forward to meeting many
old friends.
Plan to meet as many people as possible to hear wide
Will be range of views on current concerns in Hong Kong. meeting a number of people in Government, in Legco, in the administration, and in business. Naturally will be talking with the Governor.
Also meeting the police. Will be discussing the problem of increasing crime, talking to all those involved, and visiting the site of a recent serious crime.
Visiting the new town of Tai Po. Will see a school and other local institutions.
Will also be visiting Vietnamese migrant centre and site of new airport.
