replied that he had conducted investigation for KODAK about counterfeit KODAK films in Xiamen, 3C said that he worked for Pinkerton, an organisation involved in conducting trademark investigations with headquarters in U.S.A. and offices throughout Asia. He was questioned in considerable detail concerning what instructions he had received, how he had carried out investigations on behalf of KODAK, who he had worked with and the company names used. He provided as much information as he could including that he had been instructed to work to find out who was counterfeiting KODAK film in Xiamen, that he knew it was on behalf of KODAK and had seen a letter from KODAK in a file at Pinkerton in Hong Kong but could not remember from which individual in KODAK, that the company names used by Pinkerton included ORIENTAL TRADING CO (address and contact details supplied), MARTELLO (contact details supplied) and WHARTON in Taiwan.
He was asked whether he knew an individual called CHAO YUN to which BC replied in the affirmative. He said he was aware CHAO YUN had been transferred from Taiwan and that he referred him as PETER. He advised that he did not know PETER was known by any other name. Оп Thursday or Friday, BC was again questioned concerning PETER only on this occasion he was asked if he knew a man called CHIU FOO YIÙ and was shown a hotel record
a hotel record depicting this name. The staff questioning him stated that they knew CHIU FOO YIU lived in Kwun Tong in Hong Kong that he held a Taiwanese passport and used a re- entry permit.
BC was also questioned concerning a
a KODAK informant in Fujian Province whose details he felt obliged to provide.
At one stage BC was questioned concerning an individual named HONG KWOK LUNG. BC was advised that the telephone records of the hotel where he had stayed with PETER showed that BC and PETER had stayed at Room 801 and one telephone call had been made out of Room 801 to a distant location

into the hotel to Room 811. BC denied any knowledge.
At one stage BC was shown a business card depicting his name together with the name of a company in GUANGDONG PROVINCE YUEGANG IMPORT/EXPORT CO, which BC pointed out was false. He was also shown a document which appeared to be a sales agreement OI agreement depicting the same false company name and which he recalled was dated August 28, 1991 and bore no signature. BC was questioned about sample purchases including 800 rolls of film which had been transferred to Guangzhou and subsequently collected by a KODAK representative. All other particulars of the case were also discussed.
