III. Expanding the spy organization. During the latter half of
1984, the defendant returned secretly to his home village
in Pingshan, Baoan County from Hong Kong and lured
younger brother TSANG (Zeng) XX with money into joining
the enemy spy organization. The application for joining
the enemy spy organization was drafted by the defendant
himself and, after TSANG (Zeng) XX had copied it with
invisible ink and covered with visible writing, was sent
to the enemy spy organization in Hong Kong. Meanwhile,
the defendant taught TSANG (Zeng) XX espionage skills,
such as receiving and decoding the cipher radio
instructions of the enemy spy organization, and writing
with invisible ink; he also gave TSANG (Zeng) XX HK$500'
for participating in the activities. Later, TSANG (Zeng)
XX ceased committing the offences for fear of the laws of
our country.
The facts of the crime stated above are supported by witnesses,
their testimonies, seized instruments of crime, documentary evidence,
used as exhibits. There was concrete and conclusive evidence and the
defendant's confession was put on record.
