A: e Human Rights In China

The Prime Minister has taken a direct and
personal interest in the situation of human rights
in China, raising issues at his meetings with
Chinese leaders concerning human rights and the
cases of specific individuals. We would like to
take the opportunity to thank the Prime Minister for
all he has done in this regard. We would also
stress the importance of following up these matters,
particularly the individual cases, and taking every
opportunity to raise human rights issues with
Chinese officials.
