1.
A letter from Mr Robert Parry MP to the Secretary of
State, proposing a visit to Hong Kong by a delegation from
the above-named organisation, and seeking confirmation that
the delegates would be given permission to enter Hong Kong.
Recommendation
2. I recommend that we advise Mr Parry that we believe the
proposed visit is unlikely to serve the cause of Human Rights in China. I submit a draft reply. FED agree.
