Departure of Lord Wilson, Governor of Hong Kong

When the present Governor of Hong Kong finishes in July, the Secretary of State would like to mark his departure. He is contemplating two separate occasions:
a private evening for the Wilsons at 1CG, probably in the flat;
a largish dinner, perhaps in Lancaster House or, if it could be arranged, using the Locarno Rooms at the Foreign Office.
Without consulting Hong Kong on this (because the Secretary of State may just conclude that he does not have two evenings free) I should be grateful if you would liaise
with the Diary Secretary to try to find dates. The Secretary of State will want to invite the Prime Minister to the big dinner, so perhaps the Diary Secretary could be in touch with
