Callers on Mr. Patten
It would be most useful for us if, once Mr. Patten has left London, you could send us a list of all the people (apart from Hong Kong Government and Conservative Party officials) who have called on him after his appointment as Governor of Hong Kong or whom he has met at social functions, e.g. the breakfasts arranged by the Hong Kong Government Office. This will allow us to enter these names on our computer, so that if and when we hear from them again, or they pass through Hong Kong, we know when and where Mr. Patten met them.
