visits
We have suggested two "theme days" each week. The purpose of these is to allow MI. Patten to devote the main part of one working day to a particular subject area. The format will of course vary according to the subject, but a typical day might involve: a briefing from the appropriate Branch Secretary; a visit to the appropriate Government Department; a lunch with non-officials involved in the field; and visits to relevant organisations or facilities.
