Security Service Briefing of Mr Patten
I am writing to confirm the arrangements for briefing
Mr Patten from 11-12.30 on Monday 1 June.

We will send a car to pick up Mr Patten and yourself at the park entrance to the FCO at 10.40 on 1 June and will return you there after the briefing (unless you wish to be dropped elsewhere).

Mr Patten will meet the Director General,
Mrs Stella Rimington, Deputy Director General (Operations), Mr Julian Faux, the Director of G Branch (responsible for countering international terrorism),
and the Director of T Branch (responsible for countering Irish terrorism), Mr Stephen Lander.
