At its last meeting the Hong Kong Action Committee of the Asia Pacific Advisory Group (the British Overseas Trade Board's Area Advisory Group for the Asia Pacific Rim) asked if it would be possible to meet briefly with Mr Patten before his departure to give a short presentation on strategy towards Hong Kong.
The next formal meeting of the Committee will be at Kingsgate House on the morning of 30 June and this might be an appropriate opportunity. Alternatively another date could be arranged at Mr Patten's convenience. Any meeting need take no more than 30 minutes of his time.
