ARTICLE 3
CENTRAL AUTHORITIES ·
A Central Authority shall transmit and receive
all requests for the purposes of this Agreement.
Unless
the relevant Party designates another authority, the
Central Authority for the Government of Hong Kong shall
be the Attorney General or his duly authorised officer;
the Central Authority for the Government of Australia
shall be the Attorney-General's Department, Canberra.
ARTICLE 4
CONTENTS OF REQUESTS
1.
In all cases requests for assistance shall be
accompanied by:
(a)
the name of the competent authority conducting
the investigation or proceedings to which the
request relates;
(b)
a
description of the nature of the
or proceedings, including
investigation
summary of the relevant facts and laws;
(c)
a statement of the purpose for which the
request is made and the nature of the
assistance sought;
