ARTICLE 18 RESURRENDER

A fugitive offender who has been surrendered shall
be resurrendered to another jurisdiction for trial
or punishment for any offence that is committed before
his return to Hong Kong or Malaysia as the case may be,
unless
(a)
(b)
the consent of
of the appropriate authority of
the requested Party has been obtained; or
he has first had an opportunity to leave the
jurisdiction of the Party to which he has
been surrendered and he had not done so within
twenty one
one days of his having been free
leave the jurisdiction or has returned
that jurisdiction having left it.
