THE REQUEST AND SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS
(1) Requests for surrender and related documents shall be
conveyed through
through the appropriate authority as
notified from time to time by one Party to the other.
(2) The request shall be accompanied by:
(a)

may be
as accurate a description as possible of the person
sought, together with any other information which
would help
help to establish 1.hat person's ilentity,
nationality and locatio:1;
a statement of each offence for which sur: ender is
sought and a statemen': of the acts and missions
which are alleged against the person in respect of
each offence; and
(c) the text of the legal provisions, if any, creating
the offence, and a statement of the punishment which
can be imposed therefor anc. any time limit on the
institution of proceedings, or on the execution of
any punishment for that offence.
(3) If the request relates to ar accused person it shall
also be accompanied by a copy of the warrant of arrest
issued by a judge, magistrate or other competent authority
of the requesting Party and by such evidence as, according
to the law of the requested Party, would justify committal
for trial if the offence had been committed w.thin the
jurisdiction of the requested Parcy.
