IN HONG KONG: LIST OF MINOR CHANGES AFFECTING
THE CROWN FOR BLANKET CLEARANCE
1. I attach a copy of a list prepared by Hong Kong Government of some of the changes to the laws of Hong Kong which will be necessary before the handover to China, and which affect the Crown. The list is not exhaustive - other changes, for example those concerning land and natural resources, are being handled separately.
2.
I would be grateful if you could check with the Palace whether they will want to be consulted in more detail on any of these proposed changes, or whether they are content for these changes to go ahead in due course.
