I have consulted our legal people yet again, and enclose a copy of their answer.
2. On the question of the "imminent danger" in section 7A(2) of the bill, in order to cover all circumstances it would probably be best to add a new clause 7A(2) (b):
" (b) an imminent danger threatening Hong Kong has
arisen; or"
and renumber the current paragraph (b) to become (c).
3. I hope this will settle the matter I've been posted!
