COURT DECISIONS ARISING FROM THE BILL OF RIGHTS

A
The Governor will be visiting London early next week and will be having meetings in the Foreign Office with the Secretary of State and Lord Caithness.
2. As amendments to existing legislation, in the light of the Bill of Rights, are soon to be introduced in LegCo, this will form a part of the agenda for the talks.
3. I note that in October you updated your note summarising BOR-related court cases. If there is a more recent update and also a consolidated list, I would be grateful if you could send them to me (by fax) before the end of the week. I apologise for giving you so little time.
