DK/HONG KONG BILATERAL AIR SERVICES RELATIONS
13. As part of the preparation for 1997, the UK and Hong Kong have negotiated a bilateral arrangement comparable with those we each have with third parties. In 1997 these arrangements will be elevated to an Air Services Agreement. Details such as capacity and routeing are contained in a side document (again usual practice) which is next due for review this Autumn. We will be contacting HKG in due course to explore whether there is a need to meet and negotiate a revision of those arrangements or the existing arrangements can be extended for a further period.
