Documents and Records se s out the

requirements for documents and records to be kept and

specifies the types of such documents.

Pa== VIII Conzzol of Air Traffic provides for rules of

the air and air traffic control to be established and

complied with. It also sets out conditions for the

licensing of air traffic controllers.

Part IX Aerodromes, Aeronautical Lights and Dangerous

Lights requires public transport aircraft above a

certain weight flying for the purpose of public transport

to take-off and land at licensed or government aerodromes

and sets out the basic requirements which must be met

before an aerodrome may be licensed. It also provides,

incer alia, for the authority to prescribe charges and the

provision of aeronautical lights.

Part X General covers miscellaneous matters such as

restrictions on aerial photography, sight of access

aerodromes, power to prevent aircraft, from flying, penalties, exemptions, fees, and interpretation.

The Order also includes Schedules which largely comprise

the detailed application of basic regulations set out in the Order

icself. Schedule 9 for example sets out in detail the various types

of flight crew licences and ratings, the validity and minimum age requirements and the privileges granted to holders of these licences

and racings. A list of the schedules is set out below.
